Programs and Partnerships
Pacific Petcare Foundation has partnered with a range of nonprofits, organizations, clinics, veterinarians, community leaders, celebrities, corporations and individuals across the nation in an effort to help animals in need. It is the people, the time and the sponsors that help the foundation achieve its goals by bringing together multiple players working toward a common goal.
At any given point, the foundation is engaged in several projects — locally, nationally and internationally. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of companion animals everywhere, wherever they are located.
Our Current Projects Include:
Local:
- Partnership with PAWS (The Progressive Animal Welfare Society)
- Partnership with the Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s Animal Safehouse Program
- Funding, installing and supplying bags for several new waste clean-up stations around town and at dog parks in an effort to keep our cities, parks and beaches clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. We will be working with the Rancho Coastal Human Society and the Del Mar City Council in this effort.
- We provide free veterinary healthcare examinations and consultations at our Sunday Free Clinics
International:
- Newly adopted clinic in La Cruz Huanacaxtle, Mexico — Dr. Dunia’s Veterinaria. One of our goals is to adopt and network with veterinary clinics in impoverished areas, both nationally and internationally. We provide these individuals with books, training, internet access, equipment, supplies and structural needs in an effort to raise their standards of veterinary care.
- Participation in Save the Turtles program in Arroyo Seco, Mexico
- Partnership with PEACE (Protection, Education, Animals, Culture & Environment), a Mexican non-profit organization committed to improving Mexico’s quality of life.
- Construction of a national veterinary free clinic and resource center in the Costa Allegra region of mainland Mexico.
- We are currently evaluating areas and individuals in need within Costa Rica and the South Pacific.
